Mrs. Livingston is the reading specialist at Pleasant View Elementary School. She has worked for Red Lion Area School district for the past thirteen years. Having taught grades one, three, and five, she is aware of the critical role that reading plays in a child’s education. Mrs. Livingston has a master’s degree in reading as well as certification in elementary education and special education.
Mrs. Livingston lives in Wrightsville with her husband and two daughters. Her daughter, Abigail, is ten years old and her daughter, Ava, is eight years old. Mrs. Livingston and her daughters love to read! One of their favorite things to do is read with flashlights under homemade tents.
Mrs. Livingston's goal as a reading specialist is to empower children with the skills necessary to become confident and successful readers. Every child is unique and possesses special qualities. Mrs. Livingston looks forward to building upon the strengths of the students as she helps them to grow in their learning. Moreover, she is committed to developing a love of reading in all students.
