Meet Mrs. Livingston - PV Reading Specialist

Mrs. Livingston is the reading specialist at Pleasant View Elementary School. She has worked for Red Lion Area School district for the past eighteen years. Having taught grades one, three, and five, she is aware of the critical role that reading plays in a child’s education. Mrs. Livingston has a master’s degree in reading as well as certification in elementary education and special education.

Mrs. Livingston lives in Wrightsville with her husband and two daughters. Her daughter, Abigail, is fifteen years old and her daughter, Ava, is thirteen years old. Mrs. Livingston and her daughters love to read! One of their favorite outings is visiting bookstores, old and new.

Mrs. Livingston's goal as a reading specialist is to empower children with the skills necessary to become confident and successful readers. Every child is unique and possesses special qualities. Mrs. Livingston looks forward to building upon the strengths of the students as she helps them to grow in their learning. Moreover, she is committed to developing a love of reading in all students.

Parents are their children’s first teachers. Mrs. Livingston looks forward to partnering with Pleasant View families in order to build the foundation for educational success.
