Mrs. Angie Tome is one of three Learning Support Teachers at Pleasant View Elementary School for the 2016-2017 school year. Prior to returning to Pleasant View Elementary School, where she taught second grade for one year, Mrs. Tome was the Primary Learning Support Teacher at Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School for five consecutive years. Mrs. Tome has worked with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. During the 2016-2017 school year, Mrs. Tome will be working with third and fourth grade students attending Pleasant View Elementary School. Mrs. Tome received her Bachelor of Science in Regular Education for kindergarten to sixth grade and Special Education for kindergarten to twelfth grade in December of 2009 from York College of Pennsylvania. In May of 2014, she received her Master of Science in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University.
Mrs. Tome has two children, a 14 year-old daughter and a 12 year-old son. Her daughter is beginning her first year of high school and enjoys playing basketball and lacrosse. Her son is starting middle school and plans to tryout for the track team. As for pets, Mrs. Tome has five cats! Her favorite breed is Siamese because of its finicky personality. Her husband, Eric, has worked for Apple Motor Company for over 12 years.
