Mrs. Libby Stambaugh completed her undergraduate work at Penn State University in Elementary Education. Shortly after, she obtained a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. Then, she attended McDaniel College to complete the requirements to obtain certification in Administration and Supervision.
This year begins Mrs. Stambaugh's twenty-third year in the Red Lion Area School District. She started her career by teaching pre-first students at PV! For the next twelve years she proudly taught students in first grade and third grade. She was also fortunate to be involved with teaching staff development courses for three years. Ten years ago, she completed an administrative internship at Clearview and Chanceford Elementary Schools. Then, during its first year, she worked as the assistant principal at the Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School. For three years, Mrs. Stambaugh had the privilege of being the principal of Windsor Manor Elementary School. This year she is thrilled to be a part of the PV Team for her fifth year!
On a personal level, Mrs. Stambaugh and her husband, Zach, are the proud parents of three incredible sons. Their oldest son is a tenth grade student and their youngest sons are in the seventh grade. Mrs. Stambugh can identify, as a parent, with how important it is for each child to experience success and happiness while attending school.
She is excited to be a part of the PV team and to work closely with the staff, parents and students!
