Mrs. Beiler has taught both first and second grade for 15 years. She is very excited to begin this new phase of her career in 4th grade!
She resides in York, and both of her daughters either went to or are currently enrolled in the Red Lion School District. Marisa is a sophomore at Temple University in Philadelphia, studying to be a physical therapist. Julia is a sophomore at the high school.
It was around the birth of her first daughter that Mrs. Beiler felt the calling to be a school teacher. She recognized her love of children, and the desire to help them learn and grow - thus re-enrolling in college to pursue teaching. Prior to that, she worked in the corporate sector in the field of advertising and public relations.
In her spare time, what little she has, she enjoys reading a good novel, watching Julia play varsity volleyball and basketball, and visiting new places. And, she loves playing with her dogs, Gunner and Mele.
Mrs. Beiler always enters a new school year with much anticipation, and ends it with a bitter-sweet feeling. She states that it is an amazing job to work with students nearly 200 days and then sending them off to the next grade.
