Meet Your Teacher

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Allemeier and I am thrilled to be your First Grade teacherJ

It’s going to be a year full of lot of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.  I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.

I was born and raised in Greensburg, which is near Pittsburgh.  I have an older sister, Tracy.  She has two children, my nephew and niece Logan and Issy. When I graduated High school I moved to York to attend York College.  I majored in Elementary Education and later received my Master’s Degree in Education from Penn State-York.

I student taught in Kindergarten, here at PV.  I was so excited to then get my First Grade position.  This is my sixteenth year in First Grade and in my opinion, it is the best grade! I am married to my wonderful husband, Mark.  We have two French Bulldogs, Iola & Jack and a Himalayan cat, Marvin.  They are our babies and we love them very much!

I am so excited to be your teacher this year and for you to be a part of this awesome all star team that we have lined up in Room 6.  This is going to be a super yearJ
