About Miss Gileza

Miss Rachel Gileza is the School Counselor at Pleasant View Elementary School. This is her first year being full-time at PV, but began at PV in January of 2025. She is super excited to continue growing her relationships with PV students and families!

 

Miss Gileza grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and Bel Air, Maryland. She moved to Pennsylvania for college and graduate school. Miss Gileza graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies and a B.A. in Psychology. She earned her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and is a K-12 Certified School Counselor. 

 

Miss Gileza works with all students through monthly classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. Miss Gileza values each and every student and PV and wants to make sure that every student is reaching their full potential academically and socially. Miss Gileza also serves as a coach for the PV PBIS team.
