About Miss Gileza

Hello! My name is Miss Rachel Gileza and I am the School Counselor at Pleasant View Elementary School. I began working at PV in January 2025. I am is very excited to continue growing her relationships with PV students and families!

 

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and Bel Air, Maryland. I moved to Pennsylvania for college and graduate school. I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies and a B.A. in Psychology. I earned my M.Ed. in School Counseling from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and am a K-12 Certified School Counselor. 

 

I work with all students through monthly classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I greatly value each and every student at PV and want to make sure that every student is reaching their full potential academically and socially. I also serve as a coach for the PV PBIS team and help to advise our 5th and 6th grade PRIDE Ambassadors!
