All About Mrs. Ford!

Hello! My name is Leah Ford, and I am very excited to be transitioning into teaching second grade this year! I enjoyed teaching first grade during the 2023-2024 school year, and I am looking forward to growing and learning with a new grade level this year. I graduated from Millersville University in 2022 with my Bachelors in Education, and will be continuing my education this school year with a Penn State course.

 

A few fun facts about myself is that I got married in March 2023 to my high school sweetheart! We have been together for almost seven years, and are enjoying our lives together. My husband is also into wood working and has built a few of the furniture pieces found in my classroom! 

Another fact about me is that I drink iced coffee every morning- even in the colder months! 

My favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-fil-a, and my favorite dine-in restaurant is Chilies'.

My favorite colors are light shades of blue and shades of purple!
