All About Mrs. Ford!

Hello! My name is Leah Ford, and I am a second-grade teacher at Pleasant View! I enjoy teaching second grade, as students are discovering their love of different subjects, finding books they enjoy reading, and becoming the best versions of themselves. I graduated from Millersville University in 2022 with my Bachelor's in Education, and recently started my master's degree in effective teaching. I am looking forward to this school year!

 

A few fun facts about myself are that I got married in March 2023 to my high school sweetheart! We have been together for almost nine years and are enjoying our lives together with our cat, Maverick, and our dog, Ranger. My husband is also into woodworking and has built a few of the furniture pieces found in my classroom! 

Another fact about me is that I drink iced coffee every morning- even in the colder months! 

My favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-fil-A, and my favorite dine-in restaurant is Cheddar's. 

My favorite colors are light shades of blue and shades of purple!
