Principal

Ms. Yeiser is a native Pennsylvanian, who spent a decade in Nebraska going to university and teaching  Reading and Language Arts, as well as Special Education. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Language Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and went on to earn her first Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University of Nebraska. After moving back to Pennsylvania, she earned her graduate degree in Special Education from Messiah College, and later, her Principals certification from the California University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Yeiser has had the privilege of teaching to diverse populations and cultures, which has helped to shape many of the thoughts and philosophies she has in Education. Sir Richard Branson said, “Listen more than you talk. Nobody learned anything by hearing themselves speak.” This is an essential component to success. One must take the time to listen to oneself, mentors and colleagues.  Ms. Yeiser has dedicated herself to the role in order to better serve our school, staff, and especially the students. As Pleasant View's Principal, Ms. Yeiser is able to utilize her skills, as well as her passion for learning to help the children of our community. Ms. Yeiser has an unfailing commitment to her students and relies heavily on her strong morals and ethical standing to lead and mentor both her staff and students.

Ms. Yeiser wants every student she encounters to leave Pleasant View with feelings of empowerment, success, and leadership. She wants each student to become better learners, confident in what they know and certain that they will be able to discover what they do not. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and community partners, PV staff will foster each student’s knowledge that they hold the power and success of their future in their own hands. Students will look back on their time with us at Red Lion,  and know that even though they've been challenged, they grew and learned because of it.
